Because of this, balls hit under about 90 feet in the air have a tendency to sort of "tumble" back to the ground. If you get a fly ball above that, the ball has significantly less resistance and winds up taking off as if there was no humidor.

The only other time and place in MLB/NFL history where something like this was possible was when the 49ers and Giants shared Candlestick Park, while the Raiders and Athletics shared Oakland Coliseum. The only other metro area that had both 2 NFL and 2 MLB teams at once, Los Angeles, always involved 3 or more stadiums, and it's highly unlikely that 2 stadiums would have issues at the same time.

The only other MLB team to change location name without actually leaving the area is the Florida/Miami Marlins.

the decline of this sports is due to the cost of playing it and let alone the cost of having equipments. as a minority kid growing up in Montreal and others, we wanted to play ice hockey so bad , due to its cost, all we can do is watch rich boys play the game. so we opted for the cheapest sports to occupy our time. basketball and even that wasnt organized.

Im a Dodger fan who never got the chance to visit that historic stadium. In my opinion, the Biggest mistake was knocking down all the history that went down inside that old Yankees stadium.

I find it funny people are really pushing the immigration angle on the decline of hockey. I am a first generation Canadian and I remember playing hockey when I was a kid. Their used to be stuff like jumpstart and other programs that made hockey affordable. Cost of living is really killing 5 sport and more affordable options like basketball and soccer have become more popular since Canadian teams are winning in those fields. Their also the fact we have been having less potent winters. My local outdoor rink can’t stay open for more than a few days at a time now. And indoor rinks are expensive. When we were a country of winter the only thing to do outside was hockey, now you can really only play indoors.

To be honest, the first MLB rivalry that comes to my mind is always Yankees/Red Sox, and not just because I'm a Yankees fan, but like with the Dodgers/Giants rivalry, it's built on generational hatred and spite.
